Well, I have to say, although I thought I might be disappointed, I was not let down by the finale at all. Would the Heroes be able to stop the events already prophecied and set in motion? The episode begins with Matt working to convince H.R.G to let the little girl, aka the tracking system, live. In this task Matt eventually succeeds. Hiro is able to rescue his friend Ando. In the end, the showdown did seem to be a little unbalanced. We have Sylar and several main characters meeting in a public square in the city. Matt first shoots at Sylar, but Sylar stops the bullets and send them back into Matt's own chest. Sylar then gets a grip on Peter, which luckily is stopped by Niki. After this happens, Hiro teleports in and gets Sylar with his Samurai blade. Now by this time, Peter is about to blow and is not able to stop it. He asks Hiro to help him but Sylar throws Hiro with one last burst of energy. Claire aims her weapon at Peter, but then suddenly Nathan swoops in and grabs Peter and flies into the sky. Shortly thereafter there is a bright flash of light, and in this we must assume that at least Nathan did not make it through it. Im not sure though honestly, because we are left to wonder about the fates of Peter, Sylar, Nathan, Matt, and D.L. The very end was a preview into next season, in which Hiro finds himself in a field surrounded by Samurai warriors!! The finale gave us just enough answers, but left enough story for at least another season to come.

Heroes Episode Synopsis 21 "The Hard Part"
Well, this episode was fairly straight forward in the direction it went. There really seemed to be something lacking in this one, although I have to admit that I am stuck wondering what will happen next, after the way the show ended. The episode begins with Sylar making a call to Dr. Suresh, and he seems panicked because he can now see the future, and seems to believe that he will harm a lot of people. Apparently, he can justify all of the other people he has harmed, just because he had to in order to take their power, but can't deal with the others. He hangs up on Dr. Suresh, because he can hear him begin to call for help. He then goes home to visit with his mom, and begins to plead with her to let him be normal. She keeps insisting that he is "special", and that he should not let it be wasted. This part of the show was a hard one for me to swallow, I really didn't buy the idea that Sylar's mom was the reason for the way he is now. Sylar begins to show her the full extent of his powers, and in the process he accidentally takes her out.
Meanwhile, Peter is busy trying to convince Claire that she has to stay and help him "save the world". Peter, of course is very convincing and eventually gets through, after they realize they both know who Ted is. After they leave the house, they see Ted on the street with Matt and Claire's father. They begin to talk, and at this point Peter begins to absorb Ted's power. Peter begins to get very bright, and this is when the episode ends. This episode was kind've a "filler" episode, which means it advanced the plot line, and filled another week, but nothing new happened and no exciting twists took place. This makes me think of only one thing. How much longer til episode 22?

Heroes Episode 20 "String Theory" Summary
The Heroes are back again , and with a particularly entertaining episode as well. This was a spectacular episode, with a great idea of showing a possible future, if the fireworks in New York are not stopped. This one will definitely have people discussing every theory imaginable in the various forums, which seems to have been one of NBC's marketing techniques so far. Everytime you think you have something figured out, or a question answered, they show you that you don't. The name of this episode is titled "String Theory", which makes sense in the fact of all the string's in the timeline at Isaac's apartment, as well as the fact that NBC just announced their contest for heroes theories. Pretty good timing, huh? Well episode 20 starts off where episode 19 left off, at Isaac's old apartment in New York city. Shortly after getting there, Hiro meets his future self. Shortly after, the government authorities come in let by Matt, another little twist. While future Hiro and Ando manage to escape, present day Hiro can not elude them. However, when he is taken in for questioning by Matt, he is found to not remember many things that he should. This is because Matt believed that he was future Hiro. Well, you can see how things start to get complicated from here. We then soon see Nathan Petrelli, who has become president just as Isaac showed us he would. At this point we also see Dr. Suresh, who has gotten a job from Nathan working to try to find a cure. Dr. Suresh tells Nathan that he has been working five years, and still does not have a cure. Nathan then asks how long it would take, and Dr. Suresh basically says its not possible. This is when Nathan brings up the idea of eliminating everyone with special abilities, for the protection of society. Meanwhile, while this is going on future Hiro and Ando go to Las Vegas, to find Peter Petrelli. We find out while there that Peter is apparently seeing Niki/Jessica, and that D.L. and Micah both passed away on that fateful day in New York. Shortly after this, we see Matt try to apprehend future Hiro and Ando, but Peter rescues them. After this Peter and Niki/Jessica begin to argue about Peter leaving to go help Hiro. This is when we find out that Peter was the one who caused that fateful day in New York, or so he claims, and not Sylar. He of course can regenerate himself like Claire, so he lived. He says its his fault, and if he can do anything to help change it he has to do it. Now in the meantime, Nathan has told Dr. Suresh he needs to know whether he is with him or not. He then tells him that he must be the one to do away with Hiro. Suresh finally complies, but does not want to because he has seen Hiro's powers and also the string time line in Isaac's apartment. At this point Peter, Future Hiro, and Ando show up to try to rescue Hiro. The main difficulty they face though, is that the Haitian who was helping Bennett before is now helping Matt, so their powers are useless. Just at the moment you think Suresh is going to erase Hiro, he neutralizes the Haitian instead. This allows Peter, Future Hiro, and Ando a chance to get to him. Hiro is told by his future self that he must go back 5 years now and defeat sylar to stop the bomb. Just about this time, Nathan shows up. He shows himself to Peter, and it has been Sylar all along as he now has Candice's powers of mimicking appearance. So as the episode ends, Peter and Sylar are having a fierce confrontation as Hiro teleports back to the present. Then he looks at a comic picture Isaac drew of Sylar being defeated by him. Well, it was definitely one of the most captivating episodes of the year so far. I have a few problems with all of this though, and maybe they'll be answered in future episodes, but here they are. If Peter causes the event in New York, then why will going back in time and neutralizing Sylar keep the event from happening? Ok, then my other question is when Peter saves Future Hiro and Ando from being captured by Matt and the authorities, he stops time. Now, if Peter can manipulate time the same way as Hiro, why would he not be trying to go back to stop himself from discharging? Im not sure just some things I thought of. There are only 3 episodes left of this season, and we should get a lot more answers to the questions that everyone has had. I would agree this was a great episode from an entertaining point of view, but, I believe many of the other episodes were better overall. Ok so next week we will get back to the present, with Episode 21. We will watch as Hiro begins his journey to find and defeat Sylar, and I'll be here afterwards, writing about the good and bad parts of the show. Long live Hiro!!

New Heroes Episode March 5th
Well the new Heroes show was a good one. I enjoyed seeing Sylar getting his fluid sucked out of his back, almost a little too much. Too bad he woke up though. I had been hoping that Simone was still around, but it seems as if she is gone. I had a feeling Ando would show back up, and he showed up just at the right time too. Niki/Jessica is still working for Linderman, which I could see coming. Hiro has finally regained his powers and has gotten the sword, but he teleports to the future and sees New York gone. What I am wondering right now, is this the future or just a possible future? I'm sure Hiro is wondering the same thing. Well, the end really ticked me off though. I was left wanting a lot more. I mean come on, Peter and Sylar finally meet up and we only get to see a little piece of it? I am glad Claire didn't take off, she needs to stick around because I know she is going to play some part towards the end, although I'm not sure just what part she is going to play. It looks as if Dr. Suresh is done for, although he may not be gone, but he's certainly not in good shape. Mr Bennett has got some problems to take care of. I have to admit, I didn't see that part coming. I thought that his wife's memory had been erased again, but it turned out that it ended up being a very bad idea, and his own girl turned against him. I can't believe I have to wait until April 23rd for another episode!!! I may need to work a 12 step program before the end of this show, because I'm seriously addicted!!

Current Heroes thoughts

Well, this will be where I post most of my views and opinions on heroes from this point on. I am still posting in a couple of the main forums, however, I was posting at a lot of forums for awhile so I just decided to try to put it all into this blog. My plan will be to post a new blog after every show. Right now my theories are a little scatterbrained. I still believe Nathan and Peter Petrelli will end up facing off against each other. I can also see Peter Petrelli and Sylar having a showdown at some point in the future. If you think about it, this is only logical since these are the only people in the show at this point with more than one ability. Sylar of course acquires his abilities by dispatching people with other abilites, and since he is running around with Suresh, he is collecting many abilities. Peter of course can absorb other peoples abilities, and could not use them unless they were around although it seems that in the past few episodes he is learning to master this to be able to use them when he wants. My own theory is that Claire, Peter, and Hiro will be the main characters who will end up saving the world. However, things change quickly in this show, and the thing I am interested to find out is how Hiro's father plays into all of this. Well thats all for this week, I will have much more next week I am sure when the show is a little fresher in my mind.
